Rose Award 2023 Winner

Visit England Rose Award 2023

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have won a much coveted Visit England Rose Award for 2023.

We have always been very proud that our cottage has been rated as a 4 star gold award through Visit England’s quality assessment and star grading system.  The Rose Award 2023 was an incredible surprise!

ROSE Awards – which stand for ‘Recognition of Service Excellence’ are judged by assessors at Visit England and aim to recognise accommodation across England who provide the best service and welcome. Only 100 ROSE awards are presented every year and we are delighted that Derwent View Cottage in Northumberland has been chosen.

As owners of Derwent View Cottage, my husband John and I are overjoyed; our dream was to make a countryside getaway that we’d love and want to stay at and we’re so happy this award shows we’ve done just that.  I’ve taken much joy in creating a warm welcome for our guests, as well as sharing the incredible attractions of the North East region with them. It’s about creating memorable experiences and showcasing the best of our area.

Derwent View Cottage
